My lasagne

Lasagne for 4 people
2lbs of mince steak
1 onoin
2 segments of garlic
1 chopped unpeeled apple
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 oxo cube
soya sauce
2 chopped carrots
seasoning
Pasta sheets
Grated cheese.( its up to you how much you would like)
White sauce
50g (2oz) butter or margarine
50g (2oz) plain flour
500ml ( 1pint) milk (semi or skimmed)
Method
Put oven on at 180 degrees Celsius
Put the onion and garlic into a saucepan with a little oil and sauté them. Add the meat and fry it up. Dont add any more oil if you need to just add a little water. when the meat is brown add the carrots but make sure that they are thinly chopped. Add the soya sauce. Put the oxo cube into a small cup and add a little boiling water into it for it to melt, when it has melted add it to the meat.Then add the chopped apple and stir it all together gently. A little seasoning. Add the tinned tomatoes,( just a hint I blend the tomatoes so that the children don't see them.) Cover your pot and gentle simmer until you have the white sauce made.

- Melt butter in sauce pan add the flour, cook for a few minutes.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the milk constantly
- Return to the heat and gently bring to the boil and keep stirring until its boils.
- Turn off the heat and put the pot aside
(If you like you can put some of your grated cheese into the white sauce)
Now you have the meat cooked and the white sauce made so the next step is to put a nice amount of meat in your lasagne dish, then place the pasta sheets on top (remember not to layer the sheets). Put some of your white sauce on top of the sheets. Start again by putting the meat on top of the sauce, then the pasta sheets and more sauce. Its time then to put your grated cheese on top. Place it in the oven for 30minutes.
Lasagne is lovely and healthy with a salad.
